Update 3-27-20 at 9:00 AM

Hi Countryside,

I hope you have been enjoying our Nightly Encouragements and our Church at Home services online so far. We will be continuing that this weekend and next week. Join us online on our website or on Facebook. I wanted to clarify something for you. Because of some new guidelines in Pinellas County we will not be having drive-thru prayer this weekend. Check out the video for more updates and I hope to see you online very soon.

In Christ,
Pastor Tim

Hey Countryside,

Our Church at Home services are continuing this weekend. Join us online on our website or on Facebook on Saturday at 5 PM or Sunday at 9:30 + 11:15 AM. We will be taking communion together during the service. You can stop by the church campus on Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM or 4:00 – 6:00 PM to pick up packets of communion elements, printed notes, as well as a daily prayer sheet. Be sure to check out the video for more information and we look forward to seeing you online for our Nightly Encouragements at 7 PM and for our Church at Home online experience this weekend.

Talk to you again real soon,
Pastor Glenn

Update 3-20-20 at 9:30 AM

Hey Countryside Family,

Please watch this important video! We’ve got something for you on campus this weekend that God has really put on Pastor Glenn’s heart. If you would like personal prayer we will be offering drive-thru prayer this Sunday on campus between 9 AM and 12 noon.

We also want to give you an update on how we are serving the community with Helping Hands and how you can help. This Sunday would also be a great time to bring in dry good or canned goods, if you can. Donations at Helping Hands have gone down 80% right now but the need has increased.

If you haven’t already done so, please download the Countryside App. This is one of the best ways to stay connected with us during this time.

In Christ.
Pastor Tim O’Fallon

Update 3-18-20 at 1:00 PM

Hey Countryside Family,

Thank you so much for being so engaged with our online experience this past weekend. We’re going to continue to do that this weekend. You can be a help to that by sharing the online experience with your friends and family. Have a watch party and spread the word of what God is doing through Countryside to reach them during this time. And feel free to share with us what you’re doing to watch the service on your social media and tag our Facebook and Instagram pages. Also, we will not be having any Groups or services for YTH or Young Adults next week.

In the meantime, there’s a couple things I would like to encourage you to do. The first is to pray. Pray for this nation, the world, your current situation, and for those around you. The second thing is to reach out to the elderly around you to pray for them and see what else you can do to help them during this time. Also, at our Helping Hands ministry donations have gone down 80% right now. If you would like to stop by to donate they are open Monday – Wednesday from 9 AM – 12 PM. 2565 Blackburn Street Clearwater, FL 33763.

Finally, this is the time where the church needs to rise up and do more ministry. We’re doing that through our nightly encouragements every weekday at 7 PM, the weekend experience, as well as upcoming prayer times and devotions. So, join us in your giving online. You can also give by texting “CountrysideCC” to 77977 or by mailing or dropping off a check to our church offices, 1850 North McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33759.

We love you Countryside and we’re here for you! If you need prayer our offices are open Monday-Thursday from 9 AM – 5 PM or you can email your prayer requests to us.

God bless you. We’ll talk again real soon.
Pastor Glenn Davis

Update 3-13-20 at 7:00 PM

Dear Countryside Family,

At this time we are putting your health and spiritual needs as a top priority by moving this weekend’s service exclusively online. To be clear, there will be no physical Saturday or Sunday services this weekend or during Monday – Friday next week. This affects groups meeting on campus, Tuesday night Young Adults (737), and Wednesday night Men’s, Women’s, Kids, Nurseries, and YTH (Middle and High School).

To join us for our weekend service online, you can watch on our Facebook and YouTube social media platforms and on our website at countryside.cc.

We strongly believe that the best approach to this epidemic is to use wisdom. Please keep in mind that we are closely monitoring events and are accounting for the guidance of health officials, local and state authorities, and other churches similar in size to ours (especially in the Tampa Bay area). By moving our services online, we are following the CDC guidelines for faith-based organizations as requested by the President, and as these guidelines change we will adjust accordingly. With this in mind, our plans may change on a day to day basis, so it is vital that we stay in close communication.

The best way for you to receive messages from us is via the Countryside App, which will send an alert to your smartphone or device when we want you to know something important. If you don’t have the App, here is the link to download it:

www.countryside.cc/app

You can also download the app by texting Countrysidecc App to 77977. Note the space between the words “CountrysideCC” and “App”.

We will resume physical services on campus as soon as it is wise to do so, but our office will remain open during the week and we will have pastors present to speak and pray with you as our care ministry and outreach will be very active. You can always contact us through the website, the app, or by calling the office during regular hours at 727-799-1618.

When physical services resume, we will implement a flexible Coronavirus Response Strategy. We are making changes during this crisis to keep you safe and keep the health of our congregation and our families strong. We aren’t sending you these measures now because we may have to make adjustments in them as circumstances change in the next couple of weeks.  We will reach out to you via the Countryside App and email before physical services resume to lay out all the relevant changes.

How you can help the church at this time of concern:

  • Please pray for our people in the church and community to be safe from this virus and safe from fear. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” ~2 Timothy 1:7
  • Please contribute. In seasons like this, the church goes into overdrive to meet needs, minister to the hurting, and keep the call to share the gospel at the center of our days. It’s our time to love and work harder. However, folks may forget to contribute when they are not in physical attendance. That’s why the need is very great right now. Please set up recurring giving through the Countryside App or give a special one time gift now so we can continue our mission together.
  • Please donate disinfectant. Although we have an adequate supply for now, we can use Lysol spray, 60% alcohol content or greater hand sanitizer, and Lysol or equivalent wipes. If you have an abundance and can spare some, please contact our office at 727-799-1618 during the week to arrange a time to drop off.

Thank you so much for being a part of our loving church at this time when we can walk with the wisdom God has given to us through His Spirit.

Committed to the Call,
Pastor Glenn
