Bill & Noreen Barlow – The Foundation of Saint Peter – Nepal
Bill and Noreen have been serving in Nepal since 1999. Currently they travel to Nepal 3 to 4 times throughout the year. They always knew that they had been called to the poor, but little did they know what God had in mind! After several years they have begun to see tremendous fruit among the poor, homeless, disabled and leper community. In 2013 they took possession of their new ministry center which Samaritan’s Purse International built for them; very similar to a hospital built around a church.
The Barlows are co-leaders and elders (they are the only western leaders) of this ever growing ministry. It consists of a fellowship which includes several larger congregations in and around the Katmandu valley. They’ve established a growing house church planting movement with well over 50 house churches in small villages. Bill is one of only two westerners on the leadership team of the unified and emerging Tibetan Church. This ministry is to the large Tibetan refugee communities living all over Nepal.
Please, keep the Barlow family in prayer as they pray about relocating back to Nepal some time this year.
